AeroShell Oil W100 Plus

Category:

Description

AeroShell Oil W100 Plus is a premium single grade oil that combines the ashless dispersant performance of AeroShell Oil W100 with the advanced anti-wear and anti-corrosion additives found in AeroShell Oil W15W-50 Multigrade.

It is specially developed for pilots and operators who prefer a single grade oil while also requiring enhanced engine protection, superior wear resistance, and improved operational performance.

Application

The advanced additives in AeroShell Oil W100 Plus provide better rust and wear protection compared to conventional single-grade oils. These additives create a protective barrier that helps prevent critical engine parts from damage caused by rust and wear, especially during periods when aircraft remain idle.

This protection helps keep camshafts and lifters properly coated, reducing the possibility of premature wear and supporting operators in achieving optimum engine performance and longer TBO (Time Between Overhaul).

Direction to Use

Usage and Application

Engine Type: Designed for use in four-stroke cycle certificated aircraft reciprocating piston engines, including fuel-injected and turbocharged engines. Suitable for most Lycoming and Continental opposed engines, as well as radial engines where SAE 50 / 100-grade oil is recommended.

Additive Inclusion: Contains an anti-wear additive equivalent to Lycoming additive LW 16702, eliminating the need for additional additive mixing.

Operational Use: Intended as an operational oil and not recommended as a break-in oil for new engines where straight mineral oil may be required. Also not suitable for helicopters using a common engine and transmission oil sump system.

Storage and Low Use: Ideal for aircraft that remain inactive for extended periods, as its anti-corrosion additives provide extra protection during storage.

Handling and Safety

Consult Documentation: Always follow equipment manufacturer guidelines and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) instructions.

Personal Protection: Avoid prolonged skin contact and inhalation of vapors or mist. Use appropriate protective gloves during handling.

Storage: Store in a tightly closed container in a cool and well-ventilated area.

Disposal: Dispose of used lubricant through authorized collection facilities only. Do not release into drains, soil, or water sources.
